Demonstration

In the hour that we live, where there are so many distractions, so many things competing for our attention, so many voices speaking into our lives, so many things and people who APPEAR sincere...how do we know who or what actually IS?

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4‭-‬5 KJV

It is in the DEMONSTRATION of God's power. If we are simply speaking words through our OWN wisdom, or by the wisdom of MEN, we aren't DEMONSTRATING. We aren't showing the world something different, something holy, something SET APART.

Our walk with God is more than just our outward appearance. It is more than what we say. It is SO. MUCH. MORE.

dem·on·stra·tion - the action or process of showing the existence or truth of something by giving proof or evidence.

It is in our ACTIONS. It is in the SHOWING of who God is. When we demonstrate, we're not merely speaking about something, we're not merely APPEARING to be someone or something, we're not just SAYING we believe, we are SHOWING the world what we BELIEVE, through our ACTIONS.

Anyone can SAY God heals, but who is going to take that step and lay hands on someone and ACTIVATE and DEMONSTRATE that faith and belief? Anyone can LOOK holy, but not everyone DEMONSTRATES inward holiness with their words and ACTIONS. Anyone can SAY God delivers and sets free, but who is going to make that step to REACH OUT TO that lost soul who needs that deliverance IN BELIEF, KNOWING that God CAN AND WILL?

It's time we stopped TALKING and start DOING. The church needs DEMONSTRATORS. The church needs those who are FULL of the holy ghost and IN TUNE with what God is saying. The church needs those who aren't ashamed of the GOSPEL! Our speech will fall on deaf ears if we aren't speaking under the anointing of the holy ghost. Now that's not to say we can't speak and encourage someone, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying we have to not just GO TO CHURCH. We MUST BE THE CHURCH.

We are TEMPLES. We are LIVING sacrifices. We are VESSELS. ALL for HIS use.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:1‭-‬2 KJV

Let's PROVE that God is who he says he is! Let's prove that he lives in us. Let's prove that he is a healer. Let's prove that he is a deliverer. Let's prove he is a redeemer. Let's prove him! Not by our own might, not by our own power, but by HIS spirit!!!

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
