Through His Eyes

It's been on my heart to write about the greatness of God's love for us. Speaking from my own experience, in times past and sometimes even now, I look at and judge myself through MY own perspective. The problem with that though is that God's love isn't dependent upon what WE think of ourselves. His abilities in our lives aren't dependent upon what WE think we can do. Praise God for that!

If he needed perfection, his purposes would never be accomplished in us or through us. He realizes our deep need for his grace and mercy. Though we're so undeserving, he gives it to us freely. He takes our imperfections and uses them for his glory. He takes our mistakes and turns them around for our good. He takes us through tests to give us a testimony.

No, none of us are perfect. Not one of us. Some of the greatest men in the Bible who accomplished the most for the kingdom of God, were FAR from perfect. The Apostle Paul, who PERSECUTED Christians, God used to write 2/3 of the New Testament. That's the kind of God we serve.

He doesn't need your ideas of yourself. He doesn't need the limitations you've placed on your own life. He just needs obedience, willingness and a life dedicated and consecrated to HIM.

No matter how you may FEEL, no matter how your situation LOOKS, no matter what anyone has told you, no matter how you've been criticized, no matter who hasn't supported you, no matter WHAT, in the end, it is GOD ALONE who has the say so. It is God alone who will open doors and prepare paths before you. It is God alone who will use you mightily in his kingdom when you CHOOSE to surrender your entire life and being to his hands.

Reject every thought that tells you that you CAN'T. Believe the truth of God's word that says he CAN, will and DOES have a plan, a hope and a future for you! I don't care what it looks like right now, GOD IS WORKING! In ways you can't see, in ways you can't feel and his love for you is greater than you could ever imagine.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Isaiah 61:10 KJV

Let him clothe you. Let him cover you. Let him adorn you. You are a child of THE King. Come what may, that is a truth that will never change.

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

Isaiah 54:10 KJV

Praise God for his mercy! He's MAKING us, even when we don't realize it! Receive it!
