Things Unseen

We don't run this race because of things we SEE. We run this race to lay hold of things we CAN'T see. In the flesh, it's so easy for our eyes to become so fixed on things we can see and grasp in the physical, but faith, REAL faith goes so far beyond what we can see in the flesh.

It goes beyond this natural world. To places unseen and unknown to us. We know God's word to be true. We know his promises to be sure. We know Him to be FAITHFUL.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1 KJV

So when we STEP out in faith, it's not because of the things we have or the things we THINK are going to happen, it's because we KNOW and we've seen the absolute and steadfast faithfulness of God to remain true to all his promises. We know we can stand firm on his word. Our eyes have not seen all he has stored up for us but we can KNOW and BELIEVE that it's ON THE WAY!

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV

Even if you can't SEE it, even if you can't FEEL it, even when you just want to throw in the towel, KNOW that God is at work. If you've prayed about it, he's working on it. If you've taken that step of faith with God, he sees and he WILL honor it. Even if you've done all YOU can do, God is doing what we CAN'T do. In the unseen. Behind the scenes. In heavenly places. Within his perfect will, perfect plan and perfect timing. He's working.

Keep walking by faith with Jesus. Your eyes may not have seen it yet, but what he has prepared for you is going to be worth it all!
