Press On

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

My friend, press on! It doesn't matter what has or will come against you, what or who tries to stop you, what stumbling blocks are thrown in your way, press on!

Keep your eyes set on the prize! We have a hell to shun but furthermore we have HEAVEN TO GAIN! This life, this world is not our home! We're just passing through! Every day, we have to run this race with PATIENCE and ENDURANCE.

We will have times in our lives that slow down our pace, that's ok. Even if we're making slow progress, it's STILL progress! Keep progressing, keep fighting! There's a reward waiting on you when you cross that finish line!

No matter the obstacle, NOTHING is too great that our coach and master can't help us to overcome! Keep in step with him! Never behind him, never ahead of him, but by his side. In tune and in HIS time. He's leading us on to a land where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, no more sickness, no more! Only PURE JOY!

My friend, set your sights on heaven! There's nothing in this race we run worth losing that reward! Press toward that mark, no matter what comes your way. It will ALL be worth it when we see the one who's been by our side through it all, face to face.
