Dreams and Distractions

I'm sure we all have dreams. We have things we hope for. Things we want to see come to pass in our lives.

THEN we have distractions. Things that come our way JUST because our enemy would love nothing more than to distract us out of our dreams. He'd love for us to settle for a copy of our dreams rather than a GOD GIVEN original. He would love to be able to get our focus off of God's promises and plan for us.

God has an ORIGINAL for each one of us. We don't have to settle for anything less. We choose to stand on God's word and his promises. We can also choose to forfeit it all because we're not willing to seek out God's perfect will for us.

God may be asking you to wait, but I assure you, when God gives you a promise, you can stand on it. Firm and secure. It's impossible for him to break it.

I can also assure you that as sure as God has given you a promise that our enemy is going to send attacks to distract you from believing in and pursuing those promises. It's up to US to resist him, to resist his lies and stay strong IN THE SPIRIT so that we can discern what is of God and what isn't.

If we are truly walking and talking with God every day as we should be, we know the real from the fake. God gives us discernment and spiritual knowledge to know these things and I encourage you today, if you don't have that walk with him or if you have questions in your mind about God's perfect will for your life, seek him while he may be found.

He is not so far away that he can't hear your prayers or reach you when you reach for him in prayer. He's always there to receive us.

Follow Acts 2:38 and receive the deep walk that he wants to have with you. There's more than just what's on the surface. God wants to go deep with us and bring us into ALL he has for us but it's going to require commitment, dedication, sacrifice and diligence on OUR part.

Don't forfeit your dreams for a counterfeit and don't let the devil talk you out of your promise. GOD'S BEST is worth it ALL!!!
