You Will Recover All

And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

1 Samuel 30:19 KJV

I love the story of David. He was a great man in the Bible in so many different ways. I think my favorite thing about him though is that he was an overcomer. He never gave in. He never ran from a fight with THE enemy. He kept his praise despite his circumstances. He truly had the heart of a King and was a man after God's own heart. Despite his past!

Today, I'd like to encourage someone to keep fighting. No matter what "enemy" you may be facing today, God is saying you WILL recover ALL your enemy has tried to take from you.

In this life we live, we live in a fallen world. We'll never be free from problems, BUT our determination, perseverance and LOVE for God will bring us through them every time. When our love for God surpasses everything else, when we put him FIRST above ALL things, he will come through. Not sometimes, but EVERY time.

He is a way maker, miracle worker and a promise keeper. Even when we're in a struggle, his power is made perfect. We may not understand the reasons for the fight but we have to trust in the one who goes before us and fights our battles FOR us.

Give it to God today and I promise he will give you a peace that passes ALL understanding. Some may say, "how can you have peace in the midst of all you're going through?" ... It's because we give it ALL to the Prince of Peace.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:7‭-‬8 KJV

Let God fight your battles. He will restore! In the mean time, think on ALL the things in this verse. God will take care of the rest!
