Walk the Walk

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10 KJV

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:1‭-‬6 KJV

Sometimes God has to TEAR DOWN everything that we've BUILT UP within OURselves, through our OWN power, in order to build us back up through his spirit, to walk in HIS ways.

If we allow it, if we give God every part of us, every part of our lives, God can truly do a work in us and through us. Only when we surrender ALL can he work the way he needs and wants to.

He hasn't called us to live in the flesh, separated from him and his spirit. He has called us to live as ONE with him and his body. When we become one with him, we also become one with his people.

When we allow God to do the work, we know he does it right. He builds us and creates us as his hands and feet. It's up to us to be open to receive all he wants to do.

It's never easy, in fact, sometimes it's just down right painful. In the end though, all the mighty works he does within us and for us far outweigh any other thing we go through.

My encouragement today is to let God have his perfect way in your life. Yes, it will require sacrifice, in more ways than one. Yes, it will be uncomfortable at times. Yes, it will stretch you to the point you think you have nothing left to give. The end result though will be more than you could ever imagine. A life built on and by God, through his power, is a life far beyond compare.

We may not know or see every step, but we know that where God is, we have no need to worry. He orders each and every step and goes before us to prepare the way. He has a perfect plan. It's up to us to walk in the paths he lays before us.

God bless you all as you walk with the Lord!
