The Potter's Wheel

But now, O Lord , thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Isaiah 64:8 KJV

All we have to do is open our hearts to him. When we give our hearts to him, he will smooth away all the imperfections right in the palms of his hands. He'll take the broken pieces of our lives, pick them up and make something brand new and beautiful. He'll fill in the cracks of our brokenness with his love and make us whole.

Maybe you feel like you're life has been shattered into a million pieces. Maybe you've just come out of the fire and God has made you new again. Regardless of where you are, what you've been through or are going through, there's nothing that God can't heal. There's nothing broken that he can't make new.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Psalms 147:3 KJV

That's what Jesus does. He sees us at our lowest. He sees us at our weakest. He sees our every flaw and imperfection, yet he still loves us the same. He sees our flaws and imperfections as opportunities for him to work in our lives to shape and mold us into vessels for his glory. He takes what the world sees as "less than", and makes us greater.

We all have our battles. We all have things that need improvement. We all fall short. Jesus meets us there. Every time. Not to condemn us, but to take us in his arms and love us. He just wants our heart and the only way he can work in our lives is if we give it ALL to him.

Have you given him your WHOLE heart? He gave his for you so that you could live free from every sin! He will work in your life in ways you never dreamed of! Let him be the potter and you be his willing clay. The vessels HE shapes are the most beautiful.
