All Things New

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

God doesn't hold our weaknesses against us. If anything, he uses them to draw us closer to him. He uses the things we think we lack in ourselves to bring glory to HIS name. If we were able to do all things within our OWN power, only WE would get the glory. Who's glory are we living for? Our own or the Lord's?

See, when MAN makes things happen, it's MAN that gets the glory.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2 Corinthians 3:5‭-‬6 KJV

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Zechariah 4:6 KJV

We are nothing in our flesh but who we are IN THE SPIRIT is EVERYTHING. Not because of our OWN works but by the work of Christ. Apostle Paul wrote that though our outward man (flesh) perish, our inner man is renewed day by day. This is done BY the spirit.

Lord help us to see that without you and your mighty hand working in our lives that we are just flesh, perishing daily. Quicken our spirits to do mighty works for you in these last days. Equip us in a way only YOU can. Send us out to the highways and byways to compel the lost to come into your house.

Works done by the hands of man are made possible ONLY through God and his power and provision.

Are your works of this world or of that which is to come? Are we building God's kingdom or our own? Are we depending on man to supply our needs or God? Are we living for the pleasures of this life or are we storing treasures in heaven? Will we give ourselves and our lives completely over to God's hands or will we hold onto the control so that we also control our outcome?

My prayer is that we all, myself included, let God have his way in our lives. Completely. Until then, we're living for our own glory when only God deserves it ALL!
