Stumbling Block

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is never changing from the beginning of time to the end. He is rock solid. He is a firm foundation. He is constant and steadfast in all his ways. 

WE are, as humans (flesh), the exact opposite (majority of the time). When things don't go how we plan or how WE would want them to, we allow EMOTIONS to dictate how we react to those things. God gave us emotions for HIS purpose, not our own and when we use our emotions improperly, we hurt ourselves or others in the process. 

Emotions are very fickle things. One minute we can "feel" happy, the next we "feel" agitated. If we would just lean on our ROCK SOLID foundation, our maker, he helps to make our blurred vision clear again. When we allow ourselves to be blinded by what we "FEEL", it hinders us from seeing things from a heavenly or spiritual standpoint. Have you ever thought about how God sees us? How he sees our situations? How he sees our lives and how we live them each and every day? All of these things are no surprise to him. After all, he is the one who created us. He had our entire life planned before we were ever formed in our Mother's womb. Nothing we go through is a surprise to him. 

Every situation, every moment, every disappointment, every trouble, every trial, he SEES it all. We are never alone and we are never out of his reach. He cares for us, he cares for each and every detail of our lives. He did not bring us to a situation to leave us helpless. He brings us to situations to help us conquer things in our lives and within ourselves that we would not otherwise be able to do on our own. He will turn EVERY stumbling block into a stepping stone to get us to where we are headed! He did not bring me and you this far to fail us now! He has a time, a purpose, a plan for it all. It is up to us to TRUST and BELIEVE. This isn't the easiest task, but...he never promised it'd be easy. He promised he would never leave us or forsake us and that his power is made perfect in our weakness! Lean on him! Trust him! He is going to bring you through this stronger and wiser than before! Every step is a step closer to your promise...even if baby steps, you are getting closer and closer. Don't give in! Press on! Fight the good fight! Be encouraged!
