Seasons

Every season in your life is meant to teach you something new. In order to grow, we have to learn a few life lessons along the way.

In the big picture, God sees and knows all. He is on the throne. He knows that each season he brings us to and through is going to teach us things necessary for our next step in life. No matter the trials and tribulations we may face in them, they are necessary for growth. He didn't promise it would be easy, he promised he would give us strength to walk through them.

We don't do this alone, ever. Yes, we face uncertainty, but he holds our lives in the palm of his hands. That is what we can hold onto for certain. We can trust and believe in him no matter what we may be going through at any given moment. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. How could such an amazing God want anything other than success for us? He wants to see us prosper! He wants to see us happy! He wants to see us living in his abundance! and the only way we can do this is by surrendering our all to him.

Sometimes in life, we face situations that we don't quite understand. We wonder how we can possibly face these things "alone". How can we go through these valleys and actually come out on the other side victorious? Through Jesus Christ. The Author and Finisher of our Faith. Where our challenge comes in is that sometimes, in the valley, we let ourselves lose sight of him. We let our situations overcome us. We let our circumstances define us. We let our emotions get the best of us. We let our OWN knowledge and understanding be our strength. We try to make things better through our OWN power. How can this be? It's life, it happens. We go through seasons of change. We go through things that make us happy, sad, and everything in between. The question is, whose knowledge and strength are we leaning on during these times?

In the seasons of our life, we have to choose to let the Lord be our guide. We absolutely cannot lean on our own understanding or we will always live in a state of uncertainty.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) says this:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) also says this:

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

So, even though we may not always understand why we go through the things we face at times, we know that God's ways are above our own. It is not our duty to understand, it is our duty to simply TRUST and BELIEVE in him. He may not always come right when WE want him to, but he will ALWAYS be right on time. Through every season of our lives, he is further preparing us for what he has for us next. Even though we can't see the finish line, we have to trust in his process. He is the potter and we are the clay and the only way he can mold us is if we become his willing vessels. We must pick up our cross and follow him daily. Only then will we find our promised land. In this life and the one to come.

God bless you all! I hope this has blessed someone!

Faith. Hope. Love.
